How to Recover From a Cyberattack

Colleges and universities must put a line of defense in place as cyberattacks continue to plague them.

Creating resilient infrastructure is a key step to ensure that an institution won’t have to halt its operations in the event of a ransomware attack or data breach. If a cyberattack does happen, how can a college or university repair the damage done?

In a coming virtual forum, moderated by Ian Wilhelm, an assistant managing editor at The Chronicle, a panel of experts will discuss how to build reliable cybersecurity as part of your institution’s strategic planning.

Join “How to Recover From a Cyberattack” on August 31 at 2 p.m. ET.

Speakers:

  • Ian Wilhelm, assistant managing editor, The Chronicle of Higher Education
  • David Murphy, manager of cybersecurity, Schneider Downs
  • Michele Norin, senior vice president and chief information officer, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey
